What's your opinion on the main story of Duet Night Abyss?

Duet Night Abyss (DNA) is a new RPG game that came out only around 28th October this year and it's gonna have it's first major update around the end of December and will be available on Steam as well after that time.

I like RPGs and exploration based games a lot and I primarily played games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact and some MMORPGs.

I tried DNA when it launched cuz it was being recommended on my feed a lot.
And disregarding all the bugs and shortcomings the game had and still has, the thing that I liked best about DNA is the main story and the choice freedom that can even alter the main story slightly.

I usually skip stories in either the beginning or after a few minutes in the story cuz it just doesn't interest me much and my standards are rather high.
But I didn't skip DNA's main story from the start to finish and I even wanted more of it by the end.

It was significantly different from most games.

The best part was that your choices could even slightly alter the main story so you had to actually focus on the story and think your choices through, and this made me more immersed in the story. The music was also great and atmospheric, it enhanced my experience by a lot.

I'd say it had one of the best stories if compared to all the RPG's I've played.

But when I checked it's reviews and community discussions, I became confused.
The opinion about the main story was mixed. Some people called it amazing just like me, some said that it was only average and some called the main story trash.

I became confused whether the main story was good or my tastes were just weird.

So, what's your opinion about DNA's main story?

NOTE: I know that DNA is filled with bugs and it has many issues as a game but please don't include those factors when you give your opinion.

Main story is the best among other big 3D gachas games partially because DNA isnt restricted by typical gacha rules like creating plain protagonist or no death rule.

But tbh, I have feeling upcoming Endfield would be better.

And I guess DNA will lose to small games like Limbus, r99, HBR, arknight etc. Their creativity isnt restricted as much as big ones after all.

And yeah, it cant be compared to real RPG with real choises.

All I know about it is that it's an anime version of Warframe that copied the tedious parts of Warframe. I'm sure it will be better after they polish it a bit more but as of now I'm not that interested.
