What else did you have in mind (and what differentiates it from the available options)?
Hmm...
idk

Truth?

The true value, or essence, or meaning.... of the world?

To strive for understanding, to live without assumption and bias.

To understand oneself and others, good or ill.

To learn what things are and how they work.

To know.

To learn at the cost of wealth and time
To know that I may not be right and the pointlessness of arrogance.
To give up control so new things can bloom in others
To find out even if it's painful

The only pleasure I'll ever have is lazily lie like a shrimp on sofa while mindlessly binge youtube and fastfood.

That and ceaseless discharge.

I could get into truth and a lot of what you said, but it would get religious really quickly and so many people disagree about so many things. Truth may not be considered an idol, either. But i think I see where you are coming from, truth seeker.

I think I align with this more than anything else.

If I had the power to, I'd just go to the sidelines and explore on my own... perhaps surround myself with a close group of people. If I had infinite time and resources, I'd just push forward science, fly to distant stars, build, and observe...

I'd go in a journey to find truth, knowing it'll always remain out of reach.

? :blob_dizzy:

Oh.

...

Ok.

Don't let anyone tell you what can or can't be your idol. That is for you to choose. For you to control. It's your power.

Truth may be an abstract idea. As @RepresentingGreed said, it might be an illusory concept not always applicable to the real world. But as much as the concept of truth might or might not be real... the direction this concept leads to definitively is.
