Why are you laughing dammit! I'm opening up my soul to you, and you laugh in return!? :blob_pout:
Just how you pointed out what the lack of guidelines is mostly used for LOL

But on a more serious note, it's helpful for more horror/dark stories. I wish we saw a few more of those. I enjoy darker mysteries like My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought. That was a pretty good manga, but I'd love to read something like it in novel form one day.

I also liked Malice! As for more of those, I have a conviction that for unpopular genres to become more popular we have to make competitions with actual prizes. That's my third goal\dream. To make various competitions on SH so certain genres would become more popular.

If you haven't seen it yet, the mangaka and their writer made a sequel: A Suffocatingly Lonely Death.

Hard to pick only one. I like the author signature system, not just the feature but the way they designed it. Works really well, easily, and right out of the gate, compared to some nightmare system I'm not sure I want to mention right now.

The image integration is a good one too; basic as many sites have them, but SH does work well.
Indentation seems to work fairly well. Lots of webnovel sites either don't allow for indented paragraphs or they delete indentations on import (for some reason). The Spoiler Tag is also coming in handy.

One thing I might like to see more of though is a few more basic feature integration into the direct comment system. I'm not talking about comments on forums, but on book chapters.

Mine is the "Latest Series" row on the front page. Gaining visibility on SH feels easier than on other sites because of it, not to mention the expanded Latest Updates section which is larger than most other sites as well.
Advanced search.
