I keep stumbling upon this WN novel. Yet when I came to check it out, and why of all places I started hearing about it here, on SHF, I saw absolutely dreadful combintation of tags, and 2k+ chapters. Me too lazy to read another slop, so can someone tell me how and why?

Huh, weird, I read the 1st chapter, synopsis and reviews. It doesn't seem to have a system anywhere. Only praises and quite honestly, well-written proses

I read it, quite early on for about a year. I quit because I really don't like WN, but the author writes at the level of a traditional author.
But it's also edgy...

It's like... a good author implementing good writing techniques and emulating popular light novels. Not sure how the later books are, and I think the pacing gets weird. The power system is quite unique, and I expect the later books to throughly cover the characters psychology and interactions.

It also has a lot of side characters that people like, only one love interest.

Good system is an oxymoron. It's always bad, and stories with systems are always slop. There are no exceptions.

Agree to disagree, but the system mostly just is their to explain the power system I think? But yeah, if you're unwilling to read if there's any system then you'll have to live without knowing why it gets brought up so much (what a lifechanging consequence).

It's not considered the peak of webnovels for nothing. Be it world-building, character development, side characters, or writing, everything is top-notch. The power system also isn't an unlimited xianxia-like slop but has clear, small ranks. And the love interest is not only interesting but relevant till now. In fact, she is my favorite FL from ML/MC novels.

LOTM, The Perfect Run, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Mother of Learning, My House of Horrors, Chrysalis, A Practical Guide to Evil, Beware of Chicken, A Soldier's Life, Trash of the Counts Family. Just to name a few.
