Well, if you also have a turbine and a tub of water, you can use it as a improv generator as well since you have to burn it. Boil the water to generate steam and use steam to push turbine.

Hell, check if you have garbage in house that needs to be burnt. Since you are going to burn it anyway.

Also, if can, you should use the ashes from the byproduct as fertilizer if possible breathing in soot is unhealthy as downing ethanol.

Hi! Chemical lab tech here. As some have said, burning or evaporating it in a well ventilated place would work. As for toxicity, well ethanol is straight drinking alcohol, if its pure you can drink it. Granted if its not food grade there might be some nasty chemicals in there, even if only as a stabiliser. The" make you blind" bit is actually methanol, though it is produced during the distilling process of ethanol, so like i said, only drink if its food grade.

If you dont mind keeping it around, you can use it as an organic solvant, so grease, glue and other non-water soluble stuff will come right off with ethanol/methanol, though that includes some plastics and most dyes.

In conclusions, the best way to get rid of it fast is to burn it at high heat, this will make co2 and water vapor. I'd reccomend doing it outside on a sligthly windy day in small batches to reduce the chances of explosions and contain the fire hazard. If there is a residue, i would reccomend treating it as if it is heavy metal waste, but this should not be the case, as you said the chemical was pure and most ethanol soluble chemicals will just burn with it without a residue.

If it's a pure ethanol and you don't want to burn it, you can simply put it in the shallow but wide container and watch it evaporate real time

I apologize. It is methanol, not ethanol. Sorry. Gonna fix that in main post.
