Asking because I want to know the best time to post a chapter.

You don't need to say your timezone if you want, most readers are from the US or Brazil (at least mine)

For me, it's right after I wake up, so 9 to 11 AM

Anytime from 6am to 12am.

I have shit sleep cycle and have the habit to scroll around SHF.

Ps. I will not read your work unless you already have 100+ ongoing chapters in hand or an arc has already been completed.

Was burned multiple times here to understand that most writers here lack commitment, like myself.

Really? You don't get new readers?
A lot of times I started reading novels that were just uploaded.

What Nuffy said. And at that number, people will see you somehow anyway. Some of the novels I follow here are uploaded when I sleep for example. They never appeared on trending afaik but I still found them.

Post regularly and your posting time won't matter. Most readers aren't here on the forums anyway, so you won't get a good idea by asking here.

Add in your synopsis when you plan to post on the regular so readers are aware of the update schedule and can peek in at around that time, then stick to it. If you divert, always notify before it happens if you can.

Also, I find posting during off-hours to be the best. Hard to really gauge this but posting when others aren't means you stay on the "recently updated" list for longer. When that is for you will require some testing and research.

I experimented with it, and posting time doesn't matter.

When someone else is watching the kid or the kid is napping, as he is doing right now. Husband watches the kid while I eat breakfast, and I may or may not check Scribble Hub during that time, depending on how late the kid kept me up the night before and other factors. Kid slept early last night, but I had sore muscles and intrusive thoughts that kept me awake, so I slept in instead of having a relaxing breakfast this morning. Grandma watches the kid from 6:30pm to 9:00pm six days a week, assuming she can sign off her work computer on time and also assuming I can manage to get the kid dressed and interested in sitting in his high chair to eat whatever Grandpa has cooked instead of running back outside to eat berries.

I mean... for me, morning and before bed usually... I mean, I read whenever, but I only really check the new releases at those times..... but timezones are also a thing. So yeah.

Choose your nationality target, the majority of SH users can be split into 3, North America, EU, South East Asia.

As for the time, it depends. It's either morning or night until early morning. Night when people start to rest. Late night when people do all-nighter. Morning when people haven't started their activities yet (if you didn't consider checking SH an activity).
