Recently my YouTube hard bass auto play has drifted into wartime Yugoslavia music. I don’t mind. It goes pretty hard, and I don’t speak the language so I don’t have to listen to the shitflinging balkans politics.

Let me be the old-timey young dude because why not? I grew up listening to Jazz and Spanish Guitar. Lived in a neighborhood where I was the only white guy, everyone else was either "Assyrian" or some kind of South American or another, so my music tastes developed differently from others. I didn't begin drifting into 90's Grunge or 90's Rap until my late teens (I'm mid 20's atm) but I still go back to the beginning (for me at least). Yeah I know, I'm lame. I don't expect anyone else to like this.

Anyway....

Cos I don't see active thread. Post singles, albums, LP's, whatev.

So... I like to listen to orchestras. This may or may not be because I was in the orchestra as a violinist in high school. Anyhow, I've been replaying this excerpt from the piece "Jupiter the Bringer of Jolity" from The Planets by Gustav Holst.

The linked performance is just an excerpt from the entire 8 minute long piece. However, it is the best part, in my opinion.

I've also been playing the piece myself . It's fun. However, listening to people other than me play it is nice. Also the fact that there are more instruments there than when I play by myself on the violin.

Oops, turned into a bit of a rant.
