What should I do about this Paradox called Book Cover?

Should I ink this?

Would continue with the inks after I'm done with some commissions, in case you give your greenlight.

The female protagonist is okay, I like her hairstyle especially well. but... the male protagonist looks a bit old, for some reason.

I don't know if I am nick picking but they look more like adults than academy kids.

Things that you can improve:

1. Change the male protagonist's face and hairstyle ton make him look more like a kid.(you can use my own sketch as hairstyle reference.)

2. Make his eyes slightly bigger.
3. Change the female protagonist's clothes to ones with more coverage since these clothes make her look more like a lady. (optional)
4. You can make the male protagonist face straight forward since that would also help you draw his face better. (optional)

I don't think any more changes are needed.
