Imagine you get to choose one power out of the three choices, which power woukd you choose and why did you choose that power out of the trio?

1. Gura Gura no Mi: making tremors out of your body by spending energy. Can by punching, or even just standing still, the vibration setting need not stop. And yes, the tremors can cause damages.

2. Shadow Clone Jutsu: Due to some limiting BS, you can only make up to three and it takes energy such as stamina etc to make them. But they possess up to 70% of your stats and is linked to you mentally. You can also regain the energy of making said clone for a quick energy boost. Take note that if a clone dies/ damaged beyond certain level, the energy spent on making said clone is lost and you need new energy to rebuild the clone.

3. Infinity: Creates or eliminates distance between two points. You can make the distance astromnomical or planck-length, the cross-sectional area to whatever you wish or as much individual pockets you want so long as your energy reserve can handle and mental capability to keep track.

Infinity. In shounen you can just send enemies to orbit/the sun. Or just smoosh them.

IRL? It's just the movie Jumpers but I can be paid to go to like the moon or Mars.

Regardless, it's the perfect defense. If you can change distances, you can't even be seen. It's basically a space variant of vector.

Just the power by it self... infinity is the only one that is useful.
just o live a normal life, comute doesn't exist, is like you enter your job at nine... live in the other side of the city and wake up at 8:30, take a shower, dress up and go to work.
i would never use my power to save anybody btw.

The third one. I'd want to cross beyond the observable universe once.

Shadow Clones could be useful irl too, being in multiple places at once? Get several things done at once, more free time later. If you're alone but need some extra hands, say, lifting something or holding something steady. Doesn't seem like there's a range distance, you could send one to work, have one clean, while you relax.

Iirc you gain all the memories and experiences of your clones when you desummon them/they get destroyed, so you don't miss any vital information from work or something. You could also use them to learn multiple things at once, study different topics and stuff. Or to socialize with multiple groups of people at once/fulfill other obligations at the same time (goodbye scheduling conflicts! On your end, at least).

They're also useful if you want to get into a dangerous field of work, expendable bodies that you can send to do stuff, if they get damaged it's no problem? They can work on repairing things in dangerous areas, performing possibly dangerous experiments in lab settings, work on/with heavy machinery, construction, with chemicals, with radioactive materials! and probably more.

Shadow clones buy you possibly the most valuable thing of all, time (on a scale far larger in most practical cases than simply erasing a commute), while coming with the side perks of being able to do dangerous things with expendable bodies.

(so ofc I'm going with Shadow Clones, despite how cool Infinity is, and how much I'd like teleportation and stuff)

@ElijahRyne @Daitengu @ArlindoFrancisco @Kalliel @GlassRose thank you all for this simple experiment.

Granted, I am omitting some bits of info and it is the author's right to do whatever they want, but I would like to say that them picking Gura Gura no Mi is just not wanting MC to be even more imbalanced as he is, no matter what excuses they give.

The Gura Gura no Mi, also known as the Tremor Fruit, is a Devil Fruit in One Piece that gives the user the ability to create vibrations, or "quakes". The user becomes a Tremor Human, and is said to have the power to destroy the world.
How strong is the character who's getting the ability? If it's someone who can already destroy a planet, either of the other two abilities should be stronger. If they're closer to a regular person, the One Piece fruit's probably the most OP option.

I'd still take the Shadow Clones, but that's because I'm a filthy degenerate, plus I don't want to destroy the world. All my stuff's here.

To put it plainly, the person can hit above his weight class by alot.

Which is why many readers actually called out the author's BS by not giving him the other two powers and instead opt to increase damage.

Infinity is just way more versatile, I have no need to triplicate myself, nor do I need to deal a lot of damage. All I need is a way to get around easily. I don’t really see a downside, and I see many upsides. I could lay in bed while moving my hands and making food, for instance. I could take one step and be in another country, or world. As for energy is it bioavailable energy, energy in your body, energy on your person, or energy around you? The only real nerf would be if it is the first one. All the rest just get a jerry can of your fuel of choice, and be ready to drink. As for bioavailability just bring alot of syrup with you.

My thing is that sounds like a lot of work and a way to get people to notice you really quickly... the power only is for making your life easier, nothing more... a normal life, nothing crazy... infinity is the best one and again the only useful one.

In real life, you using shadow clones is a good way to find yourself in some prison by the government.

Then you get Samuel L Jackson chasing after you with a taser.

Only if you're obvious about it. Infinity is a good way to get yourself hunted down and studied too. Ofc, they wouldn't be able to hold you, but it would be a hassle in it's own right as well.

At worst, with shadow clones, just only use them when you're alone at home, or rather only send one outside at any time.

Infinity won't help you do the dishes while playing videogames.

1. Turns you into a vibrator
2. Make a clone and give them a maid cosplay
3. Make your dick infinitely long (?)

Tough choice, i'll take 2 because 3 shits physics so much it might offend god

This thread uses the word 'what' as if we'll certainly obtain a power, which sounds like an autist gathering.

That said, I choose none!

Humans are already unpredictable, don't make them more complicated.
