The previous site I posted on was Wattpad when it was still good, the people there was a little toxic and wasn't the best for my already warped mental state. It stopped me from writing for years, until I decided to read novels again.

With Wattpad being my only exposure to writing sites since I was still naive in navigating the web. It took quite a long time for me to reach here, but when I docked, I knew this would be my new home.

The UI is nice and isn't overly complex, that is the main selling point for me.

What's best is the freedom and lenient policies, since everyone keeps to themselves for the most part, I don't get much comments which help me write without expectations from people demanding I write more. However, the little vocal support I get kept me from stopping to write.

To pile on to what others have said, the main advantage SH has over RR is allowing smut. The audience here is either more forgiving or more into my kind of stuff, going by my 4.6 rating here compared to 4.2 on RR, but it's mainly the smut that had me bring my story over here. While my story remains within RR's limits, one of the RR admins is openly opposed to explicit content and apparently mentions of explicit chapters possibly getting banned have been spread around often enough that some people think that's already the rule.

I set up my story here so it would already be established in case one day RR brings down the axe.
