Thanks to global warming, EVERY season besides winter is now summer!!! Winter is now a combination of spring and Autumn! I call it Spritumn!
I'll be quiet this time.
Lets try not to turn this thread into another climate change debate.
Have fun with your global boiling.

i hate snow so winter is out i hate the heat so summer is out and mushrooms are disgusting and creep me the fuck so autumn is out so that leaves spring by default
Mushrooms are more common when it's wet, so I don't equate them with fall. So for me, fall is best :)
Love winter so much. In SEA, there's no snow but there's a lotta rain. It's cold, I can wear jacket without having to endure heatstrokes. winter is nice.
It's the only time comfortable enough to visit south Asia lol

Also, its a warning that this is an oft debated controversial subject.
The problem is the debate isn't worth having.
a) Climate Change is wrong, humanity isn't the cause, no point in debating.
b) Climate change is right, in which case there is enough carbon locked up in the Siberian permafrost to dump seven times the total carbon emitted by mankind in the past 12,000 years. Oh, it's already partially melted, so the process of runaway carbon elevation is already started. Combined with all the permafrost we got enough frozen vegitible matter on the verge of rotting to emit TWENTY TIMES the total carbon dioxide of humanity.

However... the funny thing is, nature doesn't do run away feedback loops.

Usually, there are mechanisms that get triggered to reverse runaway loops on their own. Chances are the North Atlantic gulf stream will shut down, and plunge Europe into an ice age., or any one of a dozen other mechanisms will kick in and the runaway carbon emissions will shut down.

Even if it won't, it don't matter. Humanity could vanish RIGHT NOW, and nothing will stop Siberia from doing what it's doing. Humanity may, or may not be "ruining" the environment, but the point is moot. We can't STOP IT. And no, Bill Gate's plan to spray Salt Water/Chemicals into the stratosphere will not only not reverse climate change, it would be a goddamn nightmare that could kill millions, if not billions.

Maybe that's the point.

Doesn't matter. Whatever is going to happen, will happen. Sometimes doing nothing is the best choice. Should we reduce pollution? Sure. Should we kill everyone but 500 million people and make humanity "sustainable"? No. I think somewhere between causing mass starvation and sorting your recyclables there is a choice we can all live with.

The one real choice is, DON'T DO SOMETHING JUST TO CLAIM TO BE DOING SOMETHING.

Most people screaming the loudest, are doing so because it's how they make money, and I never trust anyone who screams "THERE IS NO TIME TO THINK ABOUT WHAT I AM SAYING, JUST DO AS WE SAY OR WE ALL DIE." If they use a lobbyist.
