What kind of world would such inherent evil create? How would society function when the majority of people, from the noblest of men to the poorest of commoners have a propensity to choose evil over good? How would the concept of 'good' be practiced in such a world? How would 'good' remain in such a world?
The concept of good and evil is just a moral construct. People are animals. It doesn't matter what they choose when survival and the passing of genes are still the ultimate goal of their species. Good isn't the absence of evil. By the end of the day, what we call 'good' is lesser evil. Let's say an evil person raped a little girl in broad daylight. A good person will rape that girl in a place no one can see.

Well, scientifically speaking, a dolphin raping another dolphin is just a reproductive strategy, they are pretty intelligent animals, so if other dolphins don't see anything bad with it... do dolphins really think of it as evil? It makes you think. Humans, on the other hand, DO see rape as evil and WILL take action against a rapist, usually in the worst possible way.
Dolphins have tried to rape species that are very clearly not dolphins, humans being an example. And I don't think it matters if dolphins perceive it as evil. The nazis didn't see themselves as evil even if they treated the geneva convention like a checklist.
A good person will rape that girl in a place no one can see.
Either touch grass or seek help.

That is not the scary part. The scary part is how the poor might think he is entitled to take money from the rich and will hate the rich for stopping.

That's why there is a chinese proverb that stated "give a little and they shall be grateful, give a lot and they shall be complacent."
True true.

(Slightly offtopic) Also i remembered, There is a faloo novel "I am in the crowd". About MC being a whistleblower (giving infos about wanted people) thx to system/chat-group with famous police characters : in it, there is a rich dude that got like epic reputation of being good guy, and giving lot of money to lot of poor kids so they can get education. His daughter was killed. At first, novel go in direction that it's gambling uncle the bad guy, as it's cliche the uncle always try to replace his talented brother / steal the company. AND phone conversation proof of receiving money from niece. Also the footage of camera of the murder showed that the girl was not scared of the camouflaged person, meaning she knew "him". But the guy cry and reveal that he would never dare to hurt his niece, as she is the only person that still trusted him, himself trying hard to quit gambling but failing. And that the most recent "money given by her" was to help reimburse a debt and swore to never gamble again. He was heartbroken that his niece now can't see him succeed quit gambling.
Thx to hacking by some police characters in chat group, the culprit is in fact, a student that was financed by the "rich guy".
Because rich guy was having some problems in company, he lowered the money given for sponsoring.
But the culprit tried to see the rich dude, but he encountered the daughter. Daughter was disdainful to him and criticized that unlike other students that was helped by her father, he was lazy and low scores. And unlike him that entirely rely on her dad money, lot of other "poor students sponsored", found part-time jobs as they studied. Even some able to not need the money from her dad anymore.
And it's why it resulted in him, coming to her in parking, and killing her by bashing her head with hammer.

Another spoiler for a urban novel that i can't remember, MC mention a fictive moral story (that is said IRL) : a kind person gave 100 yuan to an old beggar everyday. But the more years pass, it become lower. Beggar finally can't take it and confront him and ask why. Kind dude explains he is now married and also in following years he also got a daughter and it cost a lot to have a child. "But don't worry, i will still give you money everyday". It ends with old beggar raging and screaming to him that the wife and daughter must give back the money that should belong to him.

They are just "stories" but lot of CNs (the good ones) got a lot of truths. Just like the truth : "encouragement/chicken soup videos" can make your blood boil for 5min but you return into salted fish right after.
I like seeing interesting logics like that are true, from CNs. Especially the ones that expose the bullshit of some previous flawed ones.

There is a gif meme that says "It can happen to you. Dolphin raping." And you see a dolphin jumping on the back of a dude, with edited eyes on the dolphin.
Also i seem to vaguely remember the mention of a land animal that also try to have sex but kinda don't particularly care if it's own race. Mb i am wrong, mb it is false, mb it is fictive from fantasy

Well, one of the great evil is entitlement.

Especially those no longer deserving it.

Btw, I laugh at the meme, not at the CN stories. Those are horrible and I had seen RL cases of those too.

Let's say that you have a setting where everyone is inherently evil.

Not everyone practices evil, because that would mean the concept of evil would be lost. What happens is that when the opportunity comes, people are more likely to commit evil acts over good. And even when they commit good deeds, they actually meant it for evil. In some cases, even when they think they're doing good, they are misguidedly doing evil.

Examples are:
1. A poor malnourished girl falls in front of a horse and is trampled to death. Instead of feeling sympathy for the girl, everyone was discretely chucking, saying something along the line of "lol what a dumbass" or "it's her own fault for falling in front of a horse" or "eww, I got her blood on me!" or "aww, pity, she's so cute, I could sell her for a profit" or "it's her parents fault for not teaching their daughter manners".
2. A family is on the verge of starving to death. A merchant comes and offers to take care of them. The mother and her children are grateful for his help and swear they won't forget this boon. But the merchant was not doing it because he wanted to do good. He helped them because he wanted to see the look of despair in the mother's eyes when he rape the little girl, skin the boy alive and throw them into a starving wolf pack. He hasn't even met the family before but he just did it for shits and giggles.

What kind of world would such inherent evil create? How would society function when the majority of people, from the noblest of men to the poorest of commoners have a propensity to choose evil over good? Ai-chan got the inspiration for this question from the Evillious Chronicles by Akuno-P. The entire series can make you cry if you understand what the songs said. Ai-chan probably won't be writing it as Ai-chan can't imagine such as world as Mothy could.

This is the same girl from Lunacy of Duke Venomania, The Portrait Glassred Drew follows shortly after that song.
A person could help somebody that is suffering from a malady, but they suggest experimenting with untried methods rather than sure ones because they're curious.
Another person could help somebody that is suffering from that same malady with a surefire method, but they'll be taking something of worth towards aureity in exchange because the person is greedy.

Are they both evil?

Well, it makes you think, isn't it? What is evil? What is not? You're right, the Nazis did it, and so did the British, the Americans, the Soviets, the Mongols, the Ottomans, the Romans, the Greeks, the Church, and so on. Isn't then believing yourself morally superior to others and forcing your values on others just as evil as the "barbaric" values of other people? In the end is just the strong preying on the weak, which is only nature taking its course. I'm not trying to defend anyone here, I'm just wondering.

It's Russia in a nutshell. My opinion on it, I got used to living here.
I have my problems with Russia, but I honestly have not met a Russian I didn't like.

----

To The OP:

I think your problem is you don't know what evil is.

I have done things that were evil. I have done things that were evil on a scale you could not imagine. I did it with a smile because I was making money and it was legal. I have devastated entire city blocks, reduced them to rotting, hollowed out shells. I have created ghettos and like a vampire, drained every drop of life out of entire towns.

I was a originator officer for a sub-prime loan company.

All I did was give away money. People came to me, asked for money, and because I got one penny for every dollar I handed out, I gave away as much money as I could. For the low, low price of your home and soul. And people took the money and ran, abandoning the homes, which drove down the prices of their neighbors who had to sell to get out, or take a loan from me for the value of the home and abandon it like the others. I made so much money. I ruined so many lives. I did it all from the safety of an office. I went to these homes and sold them ruination with a handshake and a smile.

I was very... very... good at what I did.

I will never be punished. I will never suffer for my actions. I will never be brought to task. I will never be judged.

You do not know evil, for you have never been evil.
I pray you never learn.

But to be honest, there is a certain country in the east, that is terribly worse but i won't cite the name. But youtube got lot of stuff about them. Like p## tea eggs in one city.

Not sure which country you mean. Too many countries in the east fit the criteria.
Is it China? Is it Russia? Is it North Korea? Perhaps Mongolia?

Nvm brb attending the dog festival, mmm boiled dog so fresh so delicious~

wtf are you talking about? both would be evil in the context of raping a little girl, there is no lesser evil no matter the means, your example is terrible.
Damn, this quickly devolved into edgy kids that dont know anything about the world talking about rape.
