- A form of therapy
- Escapism
- To spread my fetishes
- A way to put myself in someone else's shoes and learn some empathy
- To practice my English

I think that covers it.

I had read a lot of different stories over time, and one day I was looking for something really specific but as far as I looked I couldn't find it. So now, almost 9 years later, I'm writing it. I've been on and off thinking about the story all those years, and decided to actually give it a fair shot.

I voted to express myself, but it's a bit more complicated. I'm not sure what first got me interested in writing. I think it was the four horsemen in the bible. I got stuck researching all the lore behind it and how the translations on each horseman differed from one bible to another. I originally wanted to write a young adult romance with a female Death as the protagonist, but that slowly morphed into something completely different as I got older. Getting married and having kids so soon out of highschool really killed my plans for writing. Writing now is therapeutic, and I might have tossed some trauma in. It's not exactly a goal, but it's what I got. :blob_paint:

I've been a huge light novel fan, so I wanted to follow in the footsteps of the authors I admire. Also, it's really fun.

To get these stories out of my head.

Help, I have like 5 other stories I need to write before my mind will be put at ease.

Unfortunately, I can't vote for more than 2 categories.

Because I'm a nonnative English speaker my first goal is to improve my English
The second is to have fun
And the third is to share the adventure that I have in my dreamland with others.

Not enough options allowed.

My first reason is to express the worlds that exist in my mind, with fun/enjoyment for others as secondary. I'd also like to make money from it, and hopefully support myself, eventually. And I also wish to improve my abilities as a writer now that I've gotten into it.

Was always annoyed as a reader by seeing things done so poorly, so being able to do better is always nice.

I'm a born entertainer that hopes to go pro. How I end up transitioning from writing on a fanfic site to actually selling books I have no idea. For now, I'm content with making people laugh while I practice.

I write so I can share my stories with the world and hopefully make someone's day a little bit better. My dream would be to go full time, but I know just how difficult that can be.
