What is your favorite power system?

Pre Shippuden Naruto had a perfect power system. After that it's basically Dragon Ball Z but even more gay somehow.

I like how the chakra test somehow turned into a dumbed-down version of the nen test from Hunter X Hunter.

Dragon ball Ki and the powerlevels from the scouter. It's fun to see the characters keep getting stronger and stronger, even if it's dumb.

The weird thing was they kind of invented the elemental affinity stuff out of nowhere. In the original, most Jutsu was specific to the clans that invented them and they guarded them carefully. Then there were a few basic ones everyone knew about but most didn't bother using.

Not a huge fan of RPG style magic systems found in most Isekai. RPGs need some sort of rank up system obviously but I don't understand why every last isekai story uses such devices. I'm just imagining Gandalf checking his status screen to see if he still has enough MP for that fireball he wants to toss at the Balrog.
