Which chapter, that you wrote, is your favorite? Why? Is there anything you would change in it?
Mine is this:

It foreshadows quite abit, and while writing it I had quite abit of fun. It is also a nice bit of calm before the storm, whenever I think back to this project this is the first chapter I think of. I can’t even write in the style of that project anymore, where it feels like every line is building to a crescendo or pianissimo. Unfortunately this chapter is clunky in my opinion, for example I use ‘then’ way too much imo and some of the lines are way to wordy. So if I were to restart the project I would probably have to edit it abit better.

What about you? What is your favorite of the chapters you have written, and why? Is there anything you would change?

It's not online yet, but it involves a very cute sapphic moment of bonding over poutine and stew in a communal eating hall in the far north.

I never ended up uploading it, but the penultimate chapter for the first "volume" of my Ghost Hunter Kumagawa series (which I left abandoned on this platform for like, 4 years. My bad, life started lifeing). Mostly because it was the first time I had locked in for long enough to write a relatively proper story arc, with structure, themes, and characters who grow. It would've been a satisfying ending to the volume, except I left a plot thread untied and had to squeeze in a final chapter that kinda stood on its own, just so it flowed better into the next arc.

The experience proved that I actually did like writing and could commit to an entire story. Big step for me as a writer. You could say that I also went through a character arc ?

Out of my favourite parts I would say chapter 1 part 2 and part 5 are my favourites. Mostly because it takes a step up in the atmosphere and increases the tension in RE-RISE. But I would say the parts that have th most character interaction is in part 3 and 4. Part 1 is really just setting up the scene.
Right now I just started chapter two but I am pretty proud of chapter 1.

It's the last chapter for the PART 1 of my story. I am not even sure how was I able to think of something like it, it was my way of creating a nightmare.

In the story I published here, I would say the bonus chapter :blob_joy:
It's cinematic, dark fantasy, and describes how hell reacts to the coronation.

By this one reply, I can already say you're a talented storyteller.
You portrayed your story about yourselves really well.

Oh jeeze, how would I pick just one?

Um, I'm going to pick a category of them: Fuyuko PoV chapters. She's a secondary character who is introduced later on and a fourteen year old (at time of introduction) who had a good life until she was orphaned at the age of eight. Things became worse then, but even during that bad time, there was safety and Sanctuary to be found. Then her inciting incident happened, and the girl set out into the world to check out this hope she'd been given of a new home.

She's *fun* to write. She has worries, but for the most part they are not the grand worries that the MCs need to deal with. They are still very important things to her of course. I also get to explore the feeling of wonder at new things that is harder to do with most of the other characters.

And finally: Fuyuko gets some found family, and I get to write about all the feelings involved there, including her fifteenth birthday party. Compared to her old life, it's like she got transported to another realm and became a faerie princess. It's a little weird at times, but she doesn't mind.

There is a shared moment in 4 and 6. It happens from different perspectives one from the antagonist in chapter 4 and from the protagonist in chapter 6. It's sort of the inciting incident I think, which truly drags the MC into the grander story and has lasting effects throughout what will happen later. I really liked writing the dialogue for the guy crashing out in the market. It kinda had me feeling things when I wrote it which was fun. It also really has me wanting to go back and give the character more characterization in the earlier chapters so it's a moment that hits even harder.

There are so many that stand out to me but if I had to pick a personal favorite - I like Chapter Thirty-Four - Textiles. It has a charged moment between the leads that captures a lot of their internal conflicts. Very close runners up: Chapter 52 - Conversations for a heartfelt scene between the second couple, and Chapter Nine - A Story Retold for the lore. ?✨
