The word "love" seems to be quite ubiquitous, appearing in various media such as shows, animes, games, light novels, and even in everyday conversations. However, despite my efforts to understand its meaning by searching in dictionaries, online sources, and Greek lexicons, I have encountered contradictory definitions. Additionally, people I have asked about it have provided different answers. Therefore, I am still left wondering: what exactly does "love" mean?

I still believe in this definition of love:

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

Love is to give everything you have for the sake of someone. If you're not fully devoted to someone you don't truly love them.

I stick by this definition of love.
Love (of another being) is a mindset wherein one either puts the needs and happiness of other(s) above one's own or directly tied to one's own.

There's also a love for abstract things: like love for something that can be considered the greater good - which is basically the same as above but with some obvious twitches.

Other forms of "love" are just interest, enjoyment or such.

I view love as a standalone emotion which is attached to any object, person, or place and, in essence, is caring relationships in distilled form as said standalone emotion.
What comprises a caring relationship depends on other people's definitions of caring, as they show and feel it differently in different situations, which is why love is such a broad term. I do think that we could definitely use more specific words for love in the English language.

What is love. Baby don't hurt me. No more
