What Good Thing Happened Today?

I added a few more shelves and other details to my plans. I asked Husband if he could install a chandelier, and he reminded me I could hang string lights from the shelves, which would be much more fun in my opinion. That rug is going to have to curl up the wall a bit, though, thanks to that stupid curb.

5'10" ? I can get things if I stretch a bit, but it's not too comfortable. Thankfully, I've got a toolbox shaped like a stool that can be used as such, which I've represented in the plans with an ordinary stool. That makes the reach completely comfortable.

My kid sat on his potty before the poop dangling from his anus dropped on the floor. I prefer it when he lets me put him on the actual toilet so I don't have to clean out the potty, but cleaning a potty still beats the alternative, so . . . I guess it's a good thing he's showing more initiative about getting himself seated to do his business.

Finished a new album today. Loved it. And went golfcart riding up and down the road, and occasionally down a hill.

I decided to get this for my kid for Christmas because I wished I could pour real tea with my plastic tea party set when I was a kid. These days, plastic tea party sets are still for sale, but this here looks like pure awesomeness:

Got the tea set and took a look at it while my son was at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It's so shiny and cool I just want to bust it out and play with it NOW. The cups are adorable. Yes, it's for my son, but we'll have some quality time playing with that together.
