heyy, new writer here. i see alot of fantasy on this site, and i wondered.. what genres do you all look for on the site? do only fantasy/action/romance get popular?
personally, i’m into psychological romance, or maybe just silly slice of life romance (mainly lesbian/gl) … if i wrote that sort of thing, will that gain any attention or are there any sites that are better for me?

sorry alot of questions .. thanks if you do answer :)

This will definitely work. Lesbians are amazingly popular here, but I am by no means against that. I would say this is the, or close to, best site for lesbians. Not so much psychological romance, but there is still an audience.

I don't touch ecchi or smut... (generally)
I enjoy the genres you mentioned liking, so if you go down a smutty route I request skippable smut... or don't. I'm a single reader, so do what you'd like to write.

Smut is not as popular as some make it seem. Action, fantasy, slice of life, GB, GL, BL, and isekai tend to be the most popular. Though all genre's do well here.

Fantasy. You can write any genre, but anything Fantasy does better than others.

Historical romances taking place during the Irish potato famine starring people with names like Sturly Stembleburgiss, Grampton St. Rumpterfrabble, and Irascible Coxwain Saunterblugget Hampterfuppinshire. Don't bother looking for any on here, though. They're so insanely, ridiculously popular that the authors always take them down in less than a week and upload them to Kindle Unlimited, where they sell them to their army of rabid fans for well over $5 million a year.
