Exclusively laptop. I do not understand people who use phones for things like this. Or anything actually. I absolutely loathe using phones and never use them if I can help it. I will write on the desktop sometimes but since I stopped using google docs I've had to pretty much stick to my laptop.
I use the phone for drafts because it's easier to type fast on it, and always have it with me. I use (well, mostly used - as the PocketFM upload/edit app only works on Android or Apple devices unless I'm willing to jump through all sorts of emulator hurdles and risk data corruption) the laptop for editing.

PC at home, smartphone at work... but I use the same keyboard for both. It has a bluetooth option, so I can switch over and type on my phone when I'm not busy.

I exclusively write on my cellphone, even though I have a desktop, laptop and tablet. I only ever get ideas for my story at work. Sometimes, I stop what I'm doing at work just to quickly jot down a story beat. Then, on my break or right when I get off, I expand what I wrote a little more. I do that for a week or two until a new chapter is born.

They may have magical hands. I use my smartphone only to edit and preview my novels.
Stuff like this unironically makes me fear for the future.

I'm sorry, but there is just simply no way anybody writes novels with the same length, depth, polish, etc, using just a phone Vs a more appropriate setup e.g. desktop or laptop. 100% guarantee you these writers are pumping out short-form content that is consistent with gen Z attention span while avoiding overly complicated words.

To be clear, short-form content is not bad inherently, but if it's the result of technical limitation (e.g. it's less annoying to write on a phone)... that's not good.

I'm trying but the complicated words keep creeping in. Sorry about that.
