Just for your info, this was the original 'Lolita', from the 1962 movie of the same name, which is based on the now infamous book.

A teenager who is legally a child, but behaves disturbingly maturely. The definition has changed over the years, and now includes the classical Japanese anime child, but by definition, even those 16-17-year-old anime protagonists with supermodel bodies are also 'lolis'.

So wait... are all of the aliens also lollis in "Project A-Ko"? Or is it just B-ko?

Yeah, by definition, they are all 'lolis,' but apparently, the Japanese have a very different definition based on the age of consent in Japanese laws, so 16-year-olds are considered adults.

What is Loli? Does it have to do with Lolita, as it has been suggested?

I think there are a lot of abbreviations used here that are unfamiliar. Is there a list somewhere?

There is a website called TV Tropes, it has examples and simple explanations for various anime and non-anime related terms.

In general, a loli is a little girl. The male equivalent would be a shota, I guess. :meowsip:
:meowsip:That is correct~. The term has evolved on its own, detached from its original meaning. Just like for example, lesbian~.

I think pedophiles should be put in genpop so they aren't a problem for very long.

When I was in prison, we had this guy who committed suicide by (censored) after we found out what he did to his daughter.

Anyway, it was a real tragedy that the poor guy had to have a closed casket. Some crimes are sick enough that even real scum like us won't tolerate them.

Girls, as ultimate adorable creatures that transcend dimensions, who wouldn't like them? They are the embodiment of purity and beauty, so clean that one wants to hold them in one's hands. However, the "danger zone" in creation also emerges - how to showcase this cuteness without leading the story in an odd direction?
When I realized that the "girl factor" of the female protagonist in my story was way too high, I immediately activated the emergency plan. Rather than carefully avoiding risks, it's better to strike at the root of the problem! So, the male protagonist? He doesn't exist. Instead, a cold and elegant black cat makes its debut!
Well, now the world is peaceful again. No matter how they fight and play together, the readers will only give an auntie-like smile and shout "I'm so relieved!"! The plan is perfect, done, time to call it a day! Ha ha!

Does it have to do with Lolita
In 1955 a Russian author made a book about a pedo grooming a minor or a minor with adult tendencies trying to seduce a guy or something like that (I haven't read the book), and then the term "lolita" was adopted in English to mean all those minors who act like jailbait. Then the Japanese started to combine the English terms "loli" and "complex" to make "lolicon" so they can refer to works of fiction that sexualize children or people that are attracted to that kind of work. It's kind of funny that they invented the term using two English words rather than two Japanese words.

After a while since pedos in fiction were now being called lolicons, they decided to call little girls in fiction lolis (regardless of any sexual content in the fiction). Eventually loli culture combined with bishoujo culture (a culture obsessed with cute things), and now lots of works get published that don't involve any weird sexual stuff like the term's origins would imply. An example of this loli+bishoujo content that is safe is the manga/anime known as "SpyXFamily." This story does not sexualize the character at all.

Now this is the culmination of the research I did today, anything more in depth will have to be answered by the loli enthusiasts. I am a futa enthusiast, so this is way out of my area of expertise.
