Hey, in cultivation novels, the cultivators are always consuming pills, but they're usually said to contain impurities that have to be purified later. Everyone uses the pills, and everyone is always fighting for pill ingredients, which can be interesting.

But, if you want to make something about being healthy, how about writing about a cultivator that DOESN'T use pills while the others do... he can cultivate slower and strugle because he doesn't do drugs, but has a much purer Qi, with stronger techniques later on.

Or, if you want him to be a prodigy, he can actually cultivate faster because he doesn't have impurities and his "foundation" is far more solid.

It would take out the easy conflicts of struggling for cultivation resources, but you can easy find other ways of introducing conflic.

So, I have been rewatching Heaven's Officials Blessings, and really wanted to try my hand at something like that. My first Original Novel was an attempt in that direction, but I didn't do it right, I think.

Are there any wikis I could look up, or maybe some books?
Ever heard of the videogame: The amazing cultivation simulator? It has a lot of elements drawn from cultivation novels. Chi, disciples, mythical beasts, etc. Google a summary of that game, and I think it can help you. It feels pretty similar to a wiki for this topic, to me.

There are many types of Qi or Chi or Soul or Aura or Mana no matter what you called it.. and Since its about Eating, there should be techniques or methods on how to Eat efficiently.. in my mind, your novel is a Gourmet Cultivator, :blob_cookie: :blob_sir: :blob_sir:
It is now so much as eating, as losing weight and getting beefed. The healthier the body, the stronger the Qi. Is it Qi
