Is it fine by you if I give my knowledge from months ago?
Its got to do with farming and weeding, will edit this one if you give me your thumb.
Here,
So to plant crops, one must remove the weeds that means any plant we don't desire to grow is to removed. Why is it that? Plants compete in nutrients, water and light as far as I remember, the hard part is their seeds cannot be removed from the soil and will dormant for years until condition is right. You either be lazy by using tillage or manually pull them for many many years or in my method ready the seedling to grow until roots can be seen then remove weeds, transplant seed then add mulch which is either layer of rocks or dead leaves in this case bamboo.
Former will work for years so its best to use it on crops that last that long like mango tree but you need liquid organic fertiliser to top up the soil, it will be a hassle to remove rocks if you intend to clear it. Latter, fits the bill for short living crops of less then a year, only thing is it needs plenty of them in layers and top up every month, resource wise grow bamboo they legit are mulch heaven hardly others utilise this. However some knuclehead of weeds are resilient with their determination to grow so just pluck em and add layers in that area.
I like organic and not chemicals because at least the bad virus/bacteria will be beaten back by sudden competition but to make organic fertiliser is grabbing any green leaves, greener is better and other variety.... actually just watch this guy.
