In 1386, a pig was put on trial and executed in France. The pig attacked a child who would die from as a result of the mauling. The pig was arrested, kept in prison, and then sent to court where it stood trial for murder, was found guilty, and then executed by hanging!

Continue to be reminded that I love films, and the making of films, talking about how to make films, but I hate the industry giants so much

Movie "Coyote v. Acme" (2023) cost 70mil to make

On November 9, 2023, Warner Bros. officials announced that the film was completed, but that they would not release it, because Warner Bros. Discovery preferred to claim a tax loss of about $30 million. The crew was not informed of the decision until after the film was completed

On November 13, 2023, Puck reported Warner Bros. Discovery leaders had reversed their decision and allowed the filmmakers the option to shop the film to other distributors.

On February 9, 2024, TheWrap reported that Warner Bros. Discovery had rejected the bids from Netflix, Amazon, and Paramount. The company wanted $75–$80 million to sell the film, but no distributors met their price, and Warner Bros. Discovery rejected counter bids. The company considered shelving and deleting the film (which remained in limbo at the time) and again claiming it as a tax loss.

And imagine working on a movie and you didn't even get to see it!

Isn't this the plot for the producers?
I learned that it is actually true that Russia economy runs on vodka. The Soviets tried to restrict it but had to back out and they tried it again this century but had to back out as well.

I've been learning how to program a handload selective soldering machine for the past two days and I have another day tomorrow. They're at least 50 grand GBP. And we have hundreds of PCB's to program...

Sounds like a fun time. You should be funny and rename the kill all children program to Infanticide before you're done.

I learnt that the only thing more permanent than a temporary solution is the obsession to not have said temporary solution fail.

The pains.
