This enigmatic sealed envelope from 1937 holds the final words of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the founding father of Czechoslovakia. Its contents remain unknown to this day, with the seal set to be broken on September 19, 2025.

You can't find the resonance frequency of an LRC circuit by phase matching the applied voltage to the resistor voltage. Your inductor will pick up harmonics from the fluorescent lighting and spit out 120hz if you do. Instead you need the inductor and capacitor voltages to sum zero.

This is a thread for people to share what interesting things they've learned today. It can be anything from introspective philosophy to finding out that you're not a normal person. I'll go first: Today I found out that not only do people think that eating garlic raw is weird, but I also found out that Taco Bell (Destroyer of colons and remover of 90's aesthetics) has been considered the healthiest fast-food restaurant in America for years and Chipotle has topped it this past year.
Never underestimate physics, NEVER
