She shouldn't be a Witcher. Lore-wise, women can't become witchers because they can't survive the mutagens while only 3 out of every 10 boys survive.

Ciri, having the elder magic or whatever they call it I can't remember, can't become a Witcher because she's female, she also can't learn Witcher signs because her strange Magic prevents it. Even in the books, Yennefer struggled to teach her Magic because Ciri's Magic was for some reason in a much more "raw" form, and therefore wasn't of the same nature as what was used by a normal Sorcerer/Sorceress. I forget the specifics, but that's a general idea.

Witcher 3 isn't even canon, since technically, the ending of the books has Geralt and Yennefer either dead and together in some afterlife, or in some other world in a magical isle called Avallach which is heavily implied to be Avalon of Arthurian fame, thus apparently Early Medieval Britain of Earth. They don't return. At the end, Ciri was narrating how Geralt and Yennefer married and then eventually died together to someone named Galahad, again, implied to be Galahad from the Round Table. Ciri claims she will never return to her original world since Ciri and Yennefer aren't there anymore.

Either way, idk what nonsense they have going on with Ciri. She biologically CAN'T become a Witcher. No woman can.

There was a theory I read somewhere that Ciri became the Nimue of the Arthurian Tales, you know the one that traps Merlin in a Magical cave leading to his death? In the Arthurian Tales, Nimue than goes off to marry another member of the Round Table and essentially has little else to do with Magic and doesn't reappear in the stories until Arthur's injury fighting Mordred, and then Nimue, Morgan Le Fay, and a third woman whose name I forget, are the ones that take Arthur to Avalon.
