What are your SH goals?

Paying forward, mostly. I read a ton of trans fix that helped me survive.

Just doing my part for the next generation.

Which is why I'll never go Kindle Unlimited with their rules against keeping content free online.
I dont care if I never make a cent out of my story, all I want is to see a game made out of it (At best I will take a 1% in royalty out of that, just 1%)

I totally get where you’re coming from, especially re: connecting strongly to your OCs ? Honestly, not to give unsolicited advice, but I really *would* consider taking your story back down and reuploading it gradually! You certainly wouldn’t be the first SH writer to do it, and it absolutely does help attract more people. I pick up almost all of my new readers on the days I upload a chapter; some people do find the story by searching the tags, but it’s a small number, and most of them are sorting by “last updated”—which means the longer your story sits untouched, the less visibility it has. I think it’s worth the risk! There are some silent readers on SH, but most of them will add the story to a reading list if they plan on keeping up with it or reading it later, so if you don’t have any folks like that… it might be worth cutting your losses for a chance at reaching a wider audience. Either way, I really do wish you the best
You know, you're the first person to actually elaborate this point without being snide about it, thank you. It makes sense, so I might do it when I have a free minute in between breakdowns.

Thanks again.

Oh, good!!! I’m so glad! ? I hate to see anyone’s story struggle not because of any inherent fault, but just because the process of serialization can take some getting used to. I’m rooting for you!

If you post your work here on ScribbleHub, do you have a specific goal in mind? A certain number of readers, enough of a support base for a Patreon, a few commenters that follow along for every update, just a way to keep yourself accountable, etc?
I initially posted when I was unable to find work to see if it might be viable to pursue writing as a source of income. The result was a resounding "maybe. but probably not."

Then I started working again, and my time to write went down...

And then this thing with PocketFM came up (posted on a whim) and I've only been able to really dedicate time to two of my less popular (at least here: Digital Cowboy aka Digital Cowboy Dane and Between Worlds, aka Between Earth and Pyrroth) stories.

Wish I could find a way to make the popular one (Strange Awakening) work, but would have to gut a lot of it and just not willing to do that. Also, would prefer to do it as a small cast audio - a male narrator for the MC's thoughts, a woman for their voice, and maybe two more actors, one male, one female, to voice everyone else... but that would take a budget which I don't have.
