Pretty self explanatory. For this one, you will have to split it into 2 categories. One for the ones that you dislike and the ones you have as your favourite.
You can also give reasons for why you hate or love these words. But for me , these are the words that I dislike the most.
1. Maths
2. Critical thinking (Always heard it being used in Maths so I ended up hating it)
3. Penetrate
4. Memorize
5. Cram
Then these are my top 5 favourites
1. Cream 2. Story 3. Jacaranda 4. Bluehead 5. (Idk about the 5th tbh.)

Not really an all-time or a ranked list, just what came to mind right now.

Love:
1. Ephemeral
2. Prudence (been using this one a lot)
3. Furtive
4. Catharsis
5. Gloam

Hate:
1. Moist
2. Nubile
3. Stout (It's just way too overused. Find some other way to describe fat people)
4. Specifically in my native language, the word "unboxing" is slang for taking a woman's virginity. Eww
5. Meat

I dislike slang words, mostly new ones, since I think they are stupid and confusing for non-native speaker. All the rizzes, bussins, stans, and so on. I don't think I dislike any old slang words or normal words.

Words I love, I use them so rarely that I tend to forget them. I like smithereens and capricious. I used smithereens recently so I remember it, while capricious is probably my favorite English word, as for the rest, I simply can't recall them off the top of my head.

I don't really have words I hate, or at least can't recall any right now. Generally though, I don't like modern slang and various meaningless words and phrases that are still used despite being obsolete or incorrect.

For words I love, many rarely used fun-sounding words (ideally with a fun meaning as well) like esoteric, synesthesia, matrix, iridescence, transmutation.

The meaning of a word in its use. You don't hate the words, you hate and love the concepts behind each word. Telling that you "love" or "hate" a word is exactly the same as saying that you have opinions about the concept. Sure, I can say what word I like/hate, but it will be so underwhelming that I don't think it will be interesting.

As a non-native EN speaker, my favorite words has to be:
  1. Mellifluous: Look at it, so pretty to look at, so nice to type, gives such a vivid mental image. I love it
  2. Quixotic: This one's fun, uses some rare letters, and has a nice ending. Quixotic, Quixotic, I love it
  3. Phoenix: It's such a word, inherently cool whether spoken or written. You can argue that firebirds are cool in general, but Phenex doesn't carry that same cool factor.
  4. Lagomorph: Is this an English word? Maybe? Regardless, it looks cool.
  5. Indolence: This just resonates with my keyboard and language mental faculty in an unexplainable way.
Hated words:
  1. Reccomendation: is it double C? double M? Fuck if I know, this is why we have spell check on Word.
  2. Circadian: This is the word that kept making me misspell cicada.
  3. Grievous: I don't know, it looks like it should be griveous. One of my favorite character has "The Grievous Lady" as her title, and I misspelled it on my fanfic for the longest time. Dammit!
  4. Potassium: hehe ass, says my juvenile brain. Why did they symbolize it as K anyway?
  5. Malady: What did the lady do to you, my guy.

Loved words:
1. Crow - my favorite type of bird. Also corvus as crow in latin feels cool.
2. Phosphorus - satisfying to pronounce everytime.
3. Heterochromia - the word is stuck in my head.
4. Abnormality - The scientific way to say that something is wrong.
5. Morphogenetic - like this word because the zero escape series keep mentioning it.

Hated words:
1.Cigarettes - it's always making me confuse in what letters that are actually double. I thought it double g or r.
2.Sigma - annoys me to no end when someone says it.
3. Scientology - they disgrace the name of science.
4. Jock - it reminds me of the dumb bully trope too much.
5. Propaganda - I don't like hearing it from ignorant people saying some factual things to be propaganda.

Hate:
1) #i$$&%
its a terrible lie, or sometimes learned misunderstanding, that words cannot be violence. If there's one word that I would intentionally pull a doomsday machine's lever to erase all humans memories of...
2) Cuckold
Rather, a handful of specific people who use this word it a lot all creep me out big time.
3) Virgin
Again, people who are strongly attached to the concept creep me out. I'm not exactly being fair to the word itself.
4) Seven
The odd number out that has two syllables instead of one
5) Confidence
A meaningless word used by adults that don't like kids. "Be more confident" is polite speak for "Why aren't you who I want you to be?"

Love:
1) Defenestrate
Its so cool that English has a particular word for this
2) Phenolphthalein
This word is just silly how hard it is to spell
3) Mikecoxite
Its just so obvious who name the mineral. The mineral itself also contains the exotic [CHg4]+4 cation
4/5) Androphile, Gynephile
Once in a while it can be useful to have words for sexual orientation based on the target of attraction only, instead of in relation to the attracted person's gender

Love:
  • Impetuous (especially when used in character personality)
  • Providence (helps me ground myself in any form or religious aspects when writing stuff involves praying)
  • Noblesse (I like writing nobles, it gave me ideas on how a character will do when given a portion of power within a territory)
  • Criterion (basically criteria)
  • Progress (sometimes we all have to grow)
Hate:
  • System (as much as me being a IT/CS undergraduate, this word irks me the most for being overused)
  • Pang (I don't know what's this supposed to mean, aside of narrative use representing a part of emotion or something)
  • I can't think of the other three so I'll just type it like this
