Like:
1. Martial arts (xianxia) training especially on the body. Reading the skin turn tough into like metal yet flexible like silk, muscles and tendons stronger than oxen, tigers, elephants and dragons and bones harder than diamonds and purer than gold would make me quite happy. It is the hardwork that slowly leads to evolution, kind of like watching Tony Stark building Mark 1, fumbled with Mark 2 and then so on and so forth.
2. Murder. Using the trained body to brutally kill those who deserve it. There will always be simple haughty men who treat lives of others like crap to kill, be they weak bandits or powerful emperors. And MC could go to town with these folks.

Dislike:
1. Lack of proper powerbalancing between MC and foes:
a. No worthy foe (too strong against the weak). There needs to be someone constantly slightly out of MC reach as his carrot to grow strong. If MC has no one in his weight class, there isn't a point to MC being strong.
b. Foe insanely outclassed MC and constantly tramples him (too weak against the strong). I had seen MC getting his face pummelled by people way above his weight class and it is fine if done once or twice to showcase MC's need to faster grow stronger. But show me too many times when MC can beat up foes that are supposed to be same level as his and then have MC struggle pathetically and endlessly against one level higher? This just makes me feel like MC has been putting up fake fights.

Trope that I love: Vomiting blood. It's so funny when you watch their Live Action versions.
Trope that I hate (I'd still read it tho): Higher Realms with repeating plot - e.g. After first Ascension, MC becomes a janitor in higher realm. After the next Ascension, MC becomes a slave miner in the Immortal Realm.
Trope that I love to hate: MC's Unlimited Willpower< Aphrodisiacs

The concept itself. Training to achieve immortality and passing trials sent by the heavens itself to advance.
Hate:
"Face" bullshit. Face slapping is so fucking cringe and it only exists to pad out the text and as an excuse to create conflict.
Aphrodisiac excuse. The laziest and worst way to introduce a love interest and also complete dogshit.
Skill name shouting. Shit seen not just in xianxia. It's literally just a turn based rpg but braindead because most of the time they don't even describe what the techniques/skills are.
A higher heaven shit. Introducing higher realms and resetting the MC's power to pad out the content is shit I hate.
Murderhobo shit. Annihilating everyone just because one guy pissed you off and trying to justify it with excuses. ONE fucking dude pissed you off and then you annihilate him and everyone in his home/clan/sect. What the fuck did Gary the gardener do?

Might be the thing I read is way different, because not much aphrodisiac on my end so I don't really see any issue.

Except when MC is collecting women like baseball cards. Yeah that is a problem.

Made worse when once collected, the women are no longer individual and known as one solid mass called MC harem.

Every work has it happening multiple times. Sometimes it happens multiple times per arc. Important note. It happens in Xianxia and Xuanhuan, in other word classical CN cultivation stories. There isn't a lot of translated CN Wuxia, while KR Wuxia is very different.
