LitRPG means Literary Role Playing Game.

Let's get the obvious answer out of the way, If the MC is playing the game, transported or transmigrated into the game with all the gaming aspects intact, it can easily be counted as litrpg.

However, my question is about what if MC is isekied with a system that acts like a gaming system (status window, quest etc)? As long as the MC has the cheat of status window and quest system, would that count as litRPg?

litrpg just means rpg elements. There doesn't have to actually be an rpg.

Apparently from what @Controps had stated, yes that is the case.

So this begs the question, what is the difference between System and LitRPG? Is the "System" just the table for LitRPG?

In the end, all stories are just offshoots of fantasy, so the difference doesn't matter.
Had to learn that the hard way for me because I feel the need to get semantic.

In the end, I just enjoy like the standard ride goer and goes "wee the numbers are going up and people are dying in droves."

Any story that has skills, level ups, point allocations, anything that is game-like. Anybody who clicks on a litRPG expects some game-like elements in the story, no matter what type we are talking about.

"System" is just chinese litrpg because it doesn't use a certain letter.

It's pretty much the same squid in a different color, in the same way they call their levels "realms" and skills "martial arts" in most cn stories, even those that don't do cultivation.

Tl;dr: If a story features numbers outside of computers or measurements, chances are that story is on the of becoming or being a litrpg.

I get that. However, my question is: what if there are some elements like a status window or skills that can be acquired, in the games but no quest system, or the other way around?

I mean, beliefs in dual cultivation and the like have been around long before RPGs-- that's not to say they're correct, but they aren't particularly bizzare.

Believing you can get stronger by killing people without eating them/taking power items from their body/otherwise symobolically stripping them of power is actually a more recent thing, I think.
