Hmm. Name's Sagefox, but you just call me Sage. I only add the fox because usually someone already takes ownership of "Sage". Not that I mind at all.
Anyways, hobbies? Reading and Writing are big ones. I also like playing games (Open World and RPG mostly. Anything you can build a base in. Yes, even Palworld). I suppose browsing the web for fox pics is a good shout out. Chatting in general too. Ah and anime. Let's not forget anime, and manga too.

Since we're getting into reading, I like a viand of stuff. I tend to gravitate to gender bender (just find it funny). Oh, and if you got any lolis or shota in there kicking ass too (I just like the concept of a little girl or boy wielding a hugeass sword and mowing people with it).
It's not a genre per se, but I like those stories with villains or villanesses, going against a predestined path made by a background story their world is based in. Something like this or that.
Foxgirls. If there's a foxgirl in there, I might take a peek, though that depends if the genre is my cup of tea (like if the story heavily relies on smut, then I'm out. If I wanted that, I'd rather go back to work).
Kawaii, desu ne? I like cute. I'm not shy to admit it. Child rearing stories are cute, especially if the protag is the main chibi growing up. Healing stories, so to speak, like Once More Towards the Flower Path.
Sci-fi as a genre is good. I like it when concepts are explored that are scientifically plausible, but not proven yet. If you can fiddle around a scientific concept and do it justice, then I'd consider sitting down and reading the whole thing.

Some of my favorite stories and novels. Hmm, I gotta go with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works of Sherlock Holmes and Michael Crichton with his work of Jurassic Park and Next. I find it funny that they have parallels: both are doctors. One decided to write because he was bored and the other decided to focus on writing instead of practicing. H.G. Wells is also a good shout, with The Island of Dr. Moreau and The War of the Worlds.

Anyways, that's it about me. Currently I'm like an internet warrior, though I'm technically not a NEET. Graduating from my degree basically made me my profession 24/7 no matter what I do, so I can say that I'm that despite not active on it. Although I do plan to take up training on it to advance my knowledge and get some more letters added to my name.

Genres I read often: sci-fi, comedy, romance, thriller, adventure.. honestly it's like spotify. I don't much pay attention to the story genre. If it slaps, it slaps.

Favorite novel: It's hard to pick a favorite. My favorites come from Isaac Asimov. I love exploring those deep concepts about what the future might hold, mysteris of the cosmos, and exploring deep philosophy. It's quite fun juggling those heavy mind-scratchers and discovering answers you can write down and share with others. It's like solving a cosmical puzzle!

Free Space: I think the written word is the best gift humanity ever gave itself. Our words are our thoughts, and this world is confusing enough as it is. If thoughts can be written down to words, I believe that with the power of stories we could make the future easier to help adapt to.

Also, I don’t want to read any fat-to fit, scapegoat characters, makeover scenes, forced marriage/relationship, contract marriage, or any story that glorifies child abuse or neglect, even if it’s disciplinary. Hello! Just found this thread! I'm Soumiyya and I made my account here on Scribble Hub about a year ago now, but then didn't get up the nerve to start posting my novel and familiarizing myself with the site until now . I am a professional illustrator and my hobbies are mainly just drawing and reading I also do stream on twitch as a vtuber and do a bit of youtube (mostly art and music content)!

My favorite genre is def fantasy! Growing up my favorite series were Artemis Fowl and Cirque du freak if that gives you an idea haha - I adore found family tropes so much, my current favorite novels for the past several years has been Lout of The Count's Family, Dropped in a Ghost Story Still Gotta Work, and Assistant Manger Kim Hate's Idols -I've definitely realized the thing in common with a lot of my present day favs is that I love me a comedic misunderstanding that drags the protagonist into the one thing they are trying to not get dragged into

Currently I only have one novel that I started posting here called I Was The Hero
I plan out all my webcomics first as novels so most of the chapters have artwork to accompany it as I like to insert concept art or draw scenes I really like just for fun as preplanning for the webcomic. I do have many many more written from over the years, it's just a matter of getting the courage to post them (and also having to stop myself from the never ending loop of editinga single chap over and over)

hiya. I'd forgotten i joined up ages ago and have only just come back for a proper look. I write transgressive (ie. quite naughty) novellas and short stories. Have just finished my longest story yet though, at 54k words. That might just sneak in as long enough to be called a novel?
As I look through all the other work here, I get the feeling that my stuff doesn't really belong. Shrug.
My fav book is probably "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card (as usual the book is better than the movie)
So obviously I like scifi. Also light fantasy. Preferably stories with some humor injected into them. I have a very short concentration span and can't read for long at a time, which means I don't read as much as I should. A story really has to grab me in the first couple of pages. If I find something I like, I can be a useful critique partner, having done a lot of it on "scribophile" before that site got too prissy for me. Anyway, this looks like a cool place so far. As long as not too many people advise me to "show, don't tell." That advice makes me nauseous.

I‘m moving to the US, so I thought I’d write something to get my English going. Two months and about 20 chapters later, I’m trying to write my first long-form story.

My taste is trash—I love isekai, reincarnations, people stuck in novels. Give me that, sprinkle some romance, and I’ll eat it all up. When I have time, I love playing video games (mostly FFXIV).

I adore slice of life in anime but romantasy and tragedies in novels. My hobbies vary from crocheting, embroidery, to writing, and cooking. (Also got ADHD if that's relevant xD)
I dont really have a concept of favourite. If i like smth I like it. But some honourable mentions are air folk series, powerless series, and you've reached Sam. I like them because they didn't bore me much and were intriguing. Tragedies are always welcomed. But nth dark or psychologically messing up stuff.
