So, is the goal to roast, like not real feadback, just a joke?
I think there is no goal here. So, is the goal to roast, like not real feadback, just a joke?

Good stories get roasted, mid stories get some decent feedback, and bad and pointless stories get obliterated here (do not ask him to review AI slop or ramblings with no plot, or he might take another 3-week vacation). So, is the goal to roast, like not real feadback, just a joke?
Well, a simple thing that authors often overlook when asking for feedback is forgetting which aspects they want to highlight.I think there is no goal here.
TempoK shares their thoughts about the story if they feel like reading it, I guess it's up to us if we see it as a roast or genuine feedback worded in an elaborate way.![]()
When did “ai slop” become a buzz phrase?Good stories get roasted, mid stories get some decent feedback, and bad and pointless stories get obliterated here (do not ask him to review AI slop or ramblings with no plot, or he might take another 3-week vacation).
Recently. Do you slurp the slop? When did “ai slop” become a buzz phrase?
I’m not entirely sure what that means, nor do I care to find out, but that and TDS are my current pet peaves. I have not been this annoyed since the late 90s gave us “whaaaazzzzuuuuppp”. Thankfully that was crushed in figurine form.Recently. Do you slurp the slop?
That's a discussion with multiple differing viewpoints. I'm no etymologist, but "slop" is used whenever what is being criticized has little to no value, so the word is perfect for subjective opinions. Since generative content (AI content) is just a copy of everything that the AI has machine learned, the product/end result is usually extremely generic. Most AI stories read as if they were made by a robot that only knows corporate speak, and readers want their stories to be full of passion, not feel like it came from an HR dept. that's trying to avoid liability. When did “ai slop” become a buzz phrase?
What's wrong with "what's up"?“whaaaazzzzuuuuppp”
Interesting. Funny, the claim of only learning what came before is an argument 2 characters had in Star Trek next generation season 2 decades ago. That's a discussion with multiple differing viewpoints. AI is incapable of making an original (or at least refreshing) take on a well-defined genre; it can only learn from all that came before it and make the most generic take on that genre. For example, I recently read a fantasy story that had dwarves all be sailors and explorers that hated caves and mountains; it's a simple yet dumb twist that AI could never have come up with.
No not “what’s up” “whaaaaazzzzzzuuuuuuuuuup”. If you don’t know it, you don’t know it but dear gods did it get obnoxious..
What's wrong with "what's up"?
I got an old lady to chuckle heartily by saying "what's up" instead of "how can I help you".
One of the advantages of science fiction is the discussions of technology it can generate. Science fiction spoke of humans flying with machines long before planes were invented too.the claim of only learning what came before is an argument 2 characters had in Star Trek next generation season 2 decades ago.
He means the Budweiser commercials that the "Scary Movie" movies parodied..

Eh, it’s different when you have to live with it and every jack weed in your high school is jumping in your face yelling it. Also you presume others can ignore the same things you can.All the same. doesnt seem that bad, just look like humor that majority of usa typiacally have.
may be i am just not as hung up on stuff I can ignore.
Each to their own I suppose, so you do you.
What? Also you presume others can ignore the same things you can.
You said maybe you’re not hung up on stuff you can ignore. Cool for you and all but I’m just saying in the context it suggested standardly this was something everyone would be capable of ignoring and I was trying to point out not everyone can ignore the same things. What?
I literally said "each to their own", "you do you"
That is me saying you are free to do what you want. In this specific case "to be annoyed by that phrase".
Are you ok?
Are you ok?
I am okay, I hope both of you are as well. Are you ok?
Good to hear ?I am okay, I hope both of you are as well.
I am okay, I hope both of you are as well.
I am fine.Are you ok?
You're starting to sound like the roaster. Most AI stories read as if they were made by a robot that only knows corporate speak, and readers want their stories to be full of passion, not feel like it came from an HR dept. that's trying to avoid liability.
The legendary roaster has a higher tolerance for bad stories than I do. I couldn't go through 3 chapters of any cultivation story. You're starting to sound like the roaster.
