Have you ever had that type of trouble? You try to make a username that you like to use on a website, but it says "Username already used". And if you really like the name, you start adding in numbers, but then it keeps saying that the username's taken. Just me?

No, i think that has happened to everyone at least once. It hasn’t been happening to me since I started using Napelynn though. It is kind of arbitrary after all.

I got lucky on this site that my preferred username wasn't taken but on other sites it gets bad. I'd sit there for like 10 minutes and see that every name I wanted was taken. Makes me sad.

Yeah, so that is why in a lot of sites my usernames varied so much that I use my email to log in than my user, so many names under one bloody email.

Though thinking a new name and dicking around wirh other known users when meeting them in other sites is fun.

Yeah, it happens. Problem is, it is much more effective to use a number code ID at least, than to rely on username input. For one main reason. The ID can draw in a lot more users, since they don’t have to feel frustrated with coming up with a username. Or being forced to change their usual ones.

I once played a game that relied on username format. A whole hour spent, and I could not get in. Needless to say, I stopped trying, and gave it a one star review. This sort of method can also damage the company themselves. It is why I really don’t recommend using username. Relying on a randomly generated ID is far more effective. Whether it be numbers alone, or numbers and letters. Either is better than relying on a username to track accounts.

:)

I found out that nobody uses my current username, so I can post it anywhere and be one-of-a-kind. Heck, even YouTube doesn't have another CadmarLegend....
