Have you ever had that type of trouble? You try to make a username that you like to use on a website, but it says "Username already used". And if you really like the name, you start adding in numbers, but then it keeps saying that the username's taken. Just me?
Yeah, it happens. Problem is, it is much more effective to use a number code ID at least, than to rely on username input. For one main reason. The ID can draw in a lot more users, since they don’t have to feel frustrated with coming up with a username. Or being forced to change their usual ones.
I once played a game that relied on username format. A whole hour spent, and I could not get in. Needless to say, I stopped trying, and gave it a one star review. This sort of method can also damage the company themselves. It is why I really don’t recommend using username. Relying on a randomly generated ID is far more effective. Whether it be numbers alone, or numbers and letters. Either is better than relying on a username to track accounts.
