My profile pic is one of my MC's, Aelfric. He is a prince who is in exile because of a coup orchestrated by the the sorcerous adviser and the corrupt captain of the guard. Aelfric is protected by Sydney, the one guard loyal to him.

Aelfric is also a budding fire mage (thus the background) and his mentor is Riven, a antihero of an ex-druid. It's due out September 29th. I am treating novel serialization like a book launch...
