I personally am a believer (as a fellow writer) that as a writer, I should do my best to help the reader/audience understand what I’m trying to say as best as I can. Perhaps you could find some middle ground? You could ask around for an editor who might help you iron out how to keep your style and still lessen any possibilities of putting off readers due to unnecessary confusion, or just point out any parts that could be confusing to readers.

Of course, I haven’t even gone in to read your chapters so I’ve no idea, but I have personally experienced when things that are completely clear to me (as the author) haven’t been as clear to my reader(s). If you suspect the commenters of being little trolls (which is completely possible), try finding and joining a group of authors willing to read through each other’s works for more accurate feedback.

Of course, if you’re satisfied with where you are at (both writing skill-wise and story-wise), you’re also very free to not change anything. That’s our freedom as writers, haha. :D
Regardless of what you end up doing, good luck! ^^

(ah, I wrote this thing out and then realized you seem to have reached a conclusion already so you might not even need this post, but since I already wrote it out here ya go I guess lolol)

That wasn't a conclusion...sadly, rather a... small rock-throwing contest between me and the other person. After me reading through the comments, I noticed a "special" type of comment. Regardless... what is done is done. No way of reversing the future.

I appreciate every comment and almost every bit of feedback I get. So don't worry! I still read almost any reply I get.
