That aside, the trolley problem does not account for complexity. It accounts for strangers, which means between one or five strangers.
The choice is easier.
However, if it involves someone you know, love, etc. It becomes much different. If someone you love is the one, you’ll likely choose them over the five.
Unless you want a divorce and don’t want to split the money.
