I think the post started to go in the wrong direction.
....
We try to be good, but we lack a good direction to travel. So we are stuck traveling the same circuit over and over again or stuck in some mental rut...

So if you would like to act contrary to your username, you could try to provide us a proper path to set our feet upon.

Alright than. You should consider traveling to Mars. I heard the scenery there was one of a kind. You might actually like it.

Actually I've always wanted to travel in space. There is also that alien base on the dark side of the moon I'd like to visit. *hint hint* tbh I think a weightless environment might feel better at times. I should would spend more time floating in hot water if I had a good excuse to justify the expense.

There is a difference in heading off into the woods following your own intentions then following some shady character into the woods that has obvious impure motives...

She was following a talking rabbit that showed little interest in her, instead of the shady guy that is trying to entice others into his panel van with honeyed words and promises of candy....

Actually that would be one of the first things I did in Japan, onsen and sake tasting tour!
He's funny.
(^_^)

I'd love to visit the hot springs and shrines in Japan.
X
I've done both and I will definitely recommend. Just be careful of getting into a hotel with other tourists, they can get a bit too dirty and noisy in the onsen and ruin the experience.

Vagas is a waste of money... there is so much more you could do! Like shopping xD
On a more serious note, visit the Redwoods, Crater Lake and the Oregon Caves. They're all close to each other and worth seeing atleast once if you're already in the area.

Yeah! I need ideas on what to do outside Las Vegas, LA, devouring @Nommy and the Grand Canyon, since I intend to hire a car and make it a ROAD TRIP! My sister, whose recently returned from a US trip said San Francisco is "Like Sydney and Melbourne, so you don't need to go there because you can experience it here" so its off my West Coast list. She surprisingly (for herself, because she thought she'd hate it) liked Vegas, so its settled on my list of places to go since everyone I've known whose gone there has enjoyed it.

If you're going to the West Coast, go to the National Parks'. There are some incredible sights out there and most of the Parks are in the West. Yosemite and Yellowstone are of course the most famous, but there are a whole bunch of unique parks you should see if you're heading out that way.

If you have the money, they have lots of attractions and places for you to spend it. Just stick to the main streets, I here it gets kind of rough once you get deeper into the city and away from the main strip.

Oregon and Washington are kind of boring unless you like hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, or getting down and dirty. There also a few skiing resorts along the cascades, that operate during the winter. You'll be able to find many of small waterfalls along the cascades with more then a few scenic views, but a lot of it has been mared by large scale forest fires, logging or both. The coast line has places for whale watching and there is always the ever present sealions. More scenic views and hiking trails to persue. Places to go crabbing or digging for clams(if in season) More places to fish the coastal rivers, or charter a boat for deep sea fishing. Along the southern coast of Oregon is the Oregon sand dunes. You can rent quads, side by sides, and dunebuggies to run around and get sand in every orifice xD.

The biggest cities are Portland and Seattle, but I'm more of a back to nature kind of guy so dont really spend time there. Family members do say Seattle has a decent fish market, and there are many interesting restaurants to choose from. Portland is just a lesser version in comparison, but im told it still has it's own charms. *shrug* There are also lots of golf courses if you're into that, and I do mean alot, there is one practically everywhere you go...

......

O.O

Hmm... that's a wall of text I didnt know I had in me....

Isn't it Seattle has more coffee shops per capita than any other US city? Also always raining?

It's a distinct possibility, I wouldnt really know though. Coffee does unfortunate things to me, so I avoid it like the plague.

Btw, happy to see you owning up to your habits xD

I am a new person today. Staying on track and talking travel.

I have lived on 3 continents so far. Even tho I was very young for the first one and I can't remember it.

I've lived on two and traveled in a third (Alaska is big enough to be it's own continent, right?) Honestly would like to visit Australia and Asia, for the sites and culture.

Lmao! I've driven to Paris from Germany, have to say it was scary as fuck coming off the A4. The offramp was 5 lanes, and in the space of a few hundred yards it collapsed down into 2 lanes, no traffic lines whatsoever once on the offramp. To make matters worse it ended at a T junction with a light. Everyone seemed to be pissed and constantly laying on their horns. I was lucky in that I was on the inside next the autobahn so it was a straight shot to the light. However everyone else was playing musical chairs meets demolition derby. Worst part of all, I have my older sister beside me(having a panic attack and in tears) and my mom and other two siblings in the back seat all trying to give me directions on where to go... was a blast! I fully understand now why they say that if you drive in Paris, expect your car to get hit a few times.

Now that I think about it, i very likely used up a lot of my luck there. The SUV thing we rented didnt get a scratch for the entire week long stay.
