Torture Anime

Okay, so one of my characters is stuck in prison, and they (begrudgingly) convince the warden to let them watch anime or read manga.

But they basically are like "See if I don't pick shows that you will hate!"

So they are picking a list of terrible anime. And so now I need that list, please.

Remember, the anime cannot simply be lackluster. They have to be bad.

Well, you could just google "bad anime". I did that, and I've found 2 websites: this one and this one. They are so "bad" that I've never heard of any of them.

I don’t know the context of your story but I just imagined them revealing the largely forgotten second season of some anime that your MC loved most. It is trash and has diverged massively from the beloved initial premise. So trash that it might even retroactively sour them to the first season. Bonus points if it’s an anime that IRL never got a second season (or a clear reference to one).
This of course requires that the warden knows MCs specific taste in anime.

i know their is a novel where the protagonist starts as a toilet slime
make it fan fiction where the protagonist goes out of their way to maintain the original plot, despite knowing how bad the original plot is....i see it way too often in chin fanfictions

Wait, there are some quite famous ones in the middle of that first anime list: Berserker (2016), the revival one was fucking disaster. And it is HUGE manga and the first anime was hugely famous.
And we also have Ex-Arm. It is somewhat popular...

As for bad anime, SAO (season 2's first arc in particular but really the anime as a whole is just ugh) was one of the hardest things to force myself through because of it's awful writing, but I'm in the same boat as others who've said it's better to just make something up. Parodying dime a dozen isekai titles is probably the easiest method.
