As for that short scene, I loved it! (I kinda want to read more). Too unrealistic? Of course not!

It baffles me that people think 400 feet is a lot. Fuck that, if someone holds my beer and I focus a little, most probably I could jump that wall with the sheer power of my will alone.

yeah, maybe I should've said the average modern high-rise buildings around the world, but that's an interesting chart you got there.

Anyways, for comparison, some Gothic cathedral can reach 500 feet tall, with the example of being Cologne Cathedral. So when it comes to fantasy, maybe it wasn't set into the medieval and more into the mid Industrial Revolution era.
