How does it feel being a writer?

Fine. I learn lots of new stuff since I research what I write.

Well, I already came from the amalgamation of writing and drawing, which is comics/manga/graphic novels, so I only removed the 'illustration' part coz I got no assistant. Then, I switched to novel writing.

"Oh man, this scene would make such a great drawing but... where would their hands and arms be positioned?"

-3 hours of struggling to get the pose just right-

"I'm... just gonna go rewatch Vampire Diaries."


Otherwise, it's pretty much just like my brain goes on an adventure. Will it come out like I intended? Even I don't know.

I'm not a digital artist. But, I draw. Do I count?
Yes, I sometimes draw my characters and it feels hellish cause I just don't get them right.

It was a nice and exciting experience! Even though I don’t have many readers, that’s okay. Just knowing that someone is reading makes my day. And even if no one does, I can always enjoy my own work!

Back in the 90s, one of the heads at Image Comics, I don't remember which one it was, coined the term "Wartists" to describe Writers who are also Artists.

It's a thousand times harder to write a five hundred page novel and make a fraction of the money off of it that a decent stream commission would bring.

But I got tired of being a performance artist. At least now, after publishing 12 books on kindle, I am almost making rent... a couple of more years and I might even be able to afford groceries!

Now please excuse me, I need to stream to pay for groceries :P
