Well, I feel your pain. I'd say wait until you reach a stopping point. Leaving stuff you know is wrong will only niggle at you, but if you break a good flow you'll suffer too. So maybe wait until the end of an arc or something similar?

I think you should just put a hard limit on the number of times you're willing to edit any given chapter.

Like, nobody likes editing. What we wanna do is write. Editing is just a necessary evil to improve our story.

And well, it's always possible to make something better. No story is perfect. If you keep on trying to edit, you won't ever feel like you did a perfect job, so... A deadline or a limit to those things is important.

I personally only edit each chapter once, but you can give yourself more leeway if you think it's necessary... Still, I think a hard limit of 1-3 edits should be absolutely necessary for the sake of your own sanity.
