Title and Hotel Name Help

In the second XNPC book, they're going to spend a good chunk of the story at a fancy hotel, and I want to make the name of that hotel the title of the book. The hotel is owned by a sentient Hero character, and they gave it a name that reflects the state of the world the story takes place in, in that it's somewhere people can rest when the entire world is out to kill them. I need a name that sounds dramatic enough to be a book title, and flowery enough to be the name of a fancy hotel, but not so over the top that it sounds like a middle school goth kid came up with it.

I've narrowed it down to two possibilities: Perdition's Rest and Gehenna's Rest.

Gehenna sounds more dramatic, but I'm worried a lot of people won't know what Gehenna is, so the meaning will go over their heads. But if they do know, it might fall into "middle school goth" territory.

On the other hand, Perdition sounds less immediately dramatic, but is easier to understand.

So, which name/title would you go with?

Gehenna's rest works. Or maybe Gehenna's Bastion. Wait, you don't want ideas from a crowd of other creatives... =P

Going with Gehenna here.

One, because it just sounds more appealing to me, even though I do not know the meaning of it.

And two, Gehenna School.

Just as you said, it is a hotel that protects you while the rest of the world is out to get you. So like The Continental in the John Wick movies.

That protection makes me think that some sort of protection should be in the name, but as you said, it is your idea.

Their meaning is similar, but I would say Gehenna rolls off the tongue easier than Perdition's Rest, so I would go with the former for that reason alone. Especially since it's the name of a hotel.

Well, Perdition was part of the title of a crime movie (Road to Perdition), and a forgotten city in Illinois (later renamed and absorbed by a larger community). It refers to a state of damnation or corruption.
Gehenna ... let's see - it's one of the "evil" Lower Planes in D&D and something in Vampire: The Masquerade that I barely remember, and a physical location in or near Jerusalem, has some dark implications (even involving child sacrifice in the Old Testament).

I am going to go against the (vocal - have not seen the actual vote yet) majority and vote for Perdition's Rest for an upscale hotel (but perhaps one with some dark secrets).
