I just reviewed one of the story that revolves around revenge, and I pointed out that the protagonist after the revelation of all the misdeeds he has received, he acts all cranky and constantly blaring like a little shit. I know, not an appropriate word, but that's all I had to point out.

Of course I would say that those sort of character would quickly get stale if the all-time high emotions in a character kept being used past a certain arc.

While a harsh review would probably ruin my day, at least it means the person read the story (unless they don't mention anything specific and just seem to be being mean for no reason).

The other day, I got my first one-star rating on my story, but there were no negative reviews or comments, so I have no idea if it was someone who genuinely hated my story or just some troll giving single stars to anything they saw.

I really appreciate the critique to help me improve. But I do have my own little niche that I love and I might take that advice with a grain of salt. Paranormal/Supernatural is my favorite to write about, other genres I'm willing to change a lot and listen more
