Thoughts on my synopsis?

Curious if my synopsis sets a good expectation for how the story comes across and if it's interesting or repelling.

I previously had a section for "what to expect." I'm not sure if it serves any benefit, but can bring it back if there's a general consensus that readers like that incorporated into a synopsis outside of the tags.

I liked how it sounded.
Sounds like the dynamic between the MC and ML will be interesting, considering they're both loners in pursuit of different things: one wanting peace and tranquility; one wanting space to delve into research.
I bet they'll be awkward as heck with each other to begin with.
The mention of a one-sided deal also piques my interest.

It's not bad. Explains everything that needs to be explained, and conceals what needs to be concealed. I personally don't like the rhythm of the words and how they sound spoken out loud, but except for that, it looks interesting.

Glad it's caught you're interest! I do have a lot of fun exploring their dynamics and I'm sure that comes through. I'll leave it at that for now to not go into spoilers of anything

Thanks for the input! Fascinating perspective you've given me, about how it sounds spoken aloud. That could just be how my voice comes across writing, or maybe I take on a different tone when forcing myself to write a synopsis lol.

There's a different skillset involved with summarizing a series and I'm honestly not a fan lol
