As title says. What you want delete from your favorite game. And please don't use as example games from some trilogy. (Like fallout 76)

I like fear and hunger, game has unique mechanics and really cool lore, with great characters. But bruh, I can't tolerate coin flips. (I enjoy it in fights, but not when I try find something good in chests)

Most games I play are series so any flaws and pet peeves I have get fixed in later series. Even then I like the flaws of the game and normally wouldn't want it removed because normally it's just a skill issue. Also helps that I rarely play AAA slop.

The beginning grind and videos you've seen a thousand times before. Though that's more of an add on then a remove so I would have to say...drama? Maybe? Never comment while sick.
Positive bug removing updates. Removing duplication glitch on Quest for Glory 5. Removing auto rune gathering and cliff jump gathering from Elden ring.

Anticheat in hoyoverse games. I mean, I still can play some of them on linux without getting banned, but apparently star rail isn't included in that list. Not really sure hoyo games are my favorite, though, so radiant markoth from hollow knight.

Premium currencies/in-game purchases, gambling/'wishing', limited time events (should just be permanent), grinding, permadeath?, random hit%chance in FPS games, random drop rates or effect rates, player harassment, research or tech/skill trees, arbitrary alignment penalties/bonuses, unskippable cutscenes in NG+, arbitrary limitations on cool mechanics for 'balance', spam bots, arbitrary online requirements for offline games, real time stamina/energy systems, limited time 'streaks' battle passes or login rewards,

Can't think of any more for now. I... Don't know that I have a favorite game anymore. I don't have time to play anything fun because all my game-time is wasted trying to keep up with daily 'chores' and grinding.

In Go, I hate that I feel pressured to play as fast as possible, but that is more of a me problem.

Blame that on "western" mods/Players.

Souls created the "difficult masochism" trend (similar to how Breath of the wild zelda, made everyone try to copy "open world" (even chinese CNs with a gamemaker MC mention this and criticize it = showing how bad it is))

For real though, what the heck, with all western players liking HARD stuff.
Is it bc they got a easy peasy life and want to SWEAT and BURN nerves/neurons ??????
Meanwhile China, they had a so shitty life that all crave EASY crushing games like Diablo3 or now roguelite games. (and its why years ago, faceslap novels were popular, bc they needed relaxation against the working stress, dont the west have this or what????)

Have not touched a proper game for five years.

But going by the last game being Crossout, I would say the game putting a bloody limit on the Leviathan was what killed it for me.

Yes it was a complete pain in the ass when I try my best to go up against it and that motherfucker is either a Predator that can camouflage itself and then spear me and my target to death with rocket lances or performing Marcross Missile Mayhem and a 21 gun salute that smash me to bits.

But it gave me a false hope. That in some future it would be my turn to design something like that. Not for smashing others, but rather just design a Yamato 2199 on land and watch it go like a firework warehouse in Beirut.

I hate the weapon limiter.

In Star Wars the Old Republic I'd love to undo The Knights of the Eternal Throne and Knights of the Fallen Empire expansions.

They were far too big departures from the Jedi vs Sith and Republic/Rebels vs Empire elements that I want in Star Wars and were the point where playing as a non force sensitive character went from tricky to impossible to rationalize.
