I am with you,no one like viles and rude people.
I am remember this game (if it can be called that) that was released some time ago (it’s been a decade and some).
It was called Dragon Age: Inquisition.
And it featured some 10 or so characters who could be in your party.
What the game didn’t tell you is that they’re all the same character.
One snarky, mean-spirited, bad-intentioned, repugnant and rude person wearing many faces.
Sure, I had thought I figured it out: a party with Blackbeard (whatever his name), and Solus, and that… Cole fellow.
“Finally!”, said I, “A party composition that WON’T have at each other with every second dialogue line spoken!”
— Alas! For the moment we went out into the Hinterlands to get with the dragons laying (I’m not fixing this) they began to denigrate one another, and they did not stop.
If they had offered me literally just one nice party member who didn’t say nasty things every two minutes, I would have endured… but every character shared that same barbed wit and childish petulance with each and every other.
… Also, it didn’t have that nice tactical semi-turn based system from the first dragon age to keep my mind occupied… but I made it through the ‘2’ game on the backs of characters who weren’t all just laying into one another 24/7.
…… maybe if the dialogue wasn’t so cringe it mightn’t have mattered.
