Hey y’all I’ve been searching for a good walking dead fanfic or just a general zombie story for a while now and I’m just have a lot of trouble finding one that post regularly and isn’t dropped and so for I’ve only found three I really like The walking dead:warlord, Re:the walking dead [litrpg] and Rewound so if you know any that are good or similar to those two please comment them and I will be mighty grateful

My time to shine, baby! My story’s an anime-inspired zombie series that draws heavily from the early seasons of The Walking Dead—the tight pacing of Season 1 mixed with the character depth and dialogue of Season 2 (At least that's what I'm hoping for lol). It starts off slow, builds tension and my setting, and dives deep into some pretty dark, gory territory. No systems, no LitRPG mechanics.

I just wrapped up Act 1 of my planned three-part story, so now’s the perfect time to dive in! :D

Edit: I just realized I never mentioned this. The story follows a protagonist who’s been transported from a magical world to ours in a kind of reverse-isekai setup. I really wanted to explore how that would affect someone mentally too. The alienation, the sense of not belonging, and the quiet struggle of having abilities that make you different in a world that doesn’t understand them.

There were a bunch of them on PocketFM. Only one seemed worth much and I'd have to spend a bit of time tracking it down. Haven't seen much decent zombie fiction in a while.
Loved the Marvel Zombies episode of "What If...?!?" - one of the few times a cartoon actually scared me, in fact. But the current Marvel Zombies series seems to focus on the action and leave out the mounting dread of the zombies - it does a good job of showing the emotional cost for the survivors, though. The opening scene of the second episode came close to the subway scene of the What If...?! episode, though.

That episode is definitely in the top 5 in all three seasons of What If. My personal favorite was the one with Mysterio, Killmonger's one is second, Zombies is third. But it wasn’t much of a competition.

I made a point to watch Marvel Zombies on an empty stomach because I expected lots of blood. The fact every aspect of the MCU come together as zombies gives me Endgame vibes but in reverse. It was well done for a Marvel tragedy and probably the best use of Miss Marvel to date. I also loved the opening for the third episode (and the later food reveal). I will never look at a drumstick the same way again
