It’ll be a terrible movie. A few people will watch it day one, after that it won’t get many people. I personally couldn’t care less about an Israeli woman being in the movie or Sam as cap but I just KNOW it’s gonna be done terribly and make 0 sense and suck

It's gonna flop but I'm still gonna watch it because it has the Red Hulk. Especially since he's played by Harrison Ford. I mean... I managed to power through Morbius even if I only remember tiny bits of the movie so it can't be any worse than that.

I have read none of the backlash or whatever regarding this movie but I'll stand by my conviction that Andrew Mackie is not action movie leading man material. I mean, I liked him as Falcon when he was a sidekick type but after watching Season 2 of Altered Carbon, he just doesn't strike me as good in that kind of role. I mean, Season 2's writing was like buttered dog shit but he was pretty bad as the lead.

And you think that a movie that is being shown internationally is going to flop because Palestine and a few liberals boycotted it? Do you not know how many people there are in the world that are neither Palestinian nor liberal? I'd be more worried about the fact that since the debut of their streaming service, Disney hasn't produced any theatrical successes.

EDIT: I'm not criticizing the boycotters in any way. I merely point out that they are a pretty small demographic.
Yeah, they won’t make a difference. Plus, despite Disney doing bad with their movies over and over again, they are still good.

Good as in, they have money to fund them. Even the Lion King Live Action was mixed at best. Though, that one sold so many tickets, that it kinda hammered their direction.

I think their worst flop though was the Little Mermaid Live Action.

I realized after reading old mtl chinese novels my level of expectations have become very low, which means I can watch the most trash movie in the history and still manage to somehow enjoy my time.

Wait until Snow White comes out.

Can anyone explain to me how Sam Wilson works as a Captain America?

I know there is the TV seires Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I can't be bothered to remember the plot.

All I know is that Falcon has a wing suit and no supersoldier serum in him.

So he's a dude with a large frisbee, jet pack with iron wings and dual wield uzis.

I think there was this arc about, you don't need to be a rich guy or have superpowers to represent America, or something.

I dun no i wasnt paying to much attension.

So yeah, I think his deal is mostly just "america ideals", drones, guns and flies abit.

Oh and he can talk to birds I think. After a cosmic mishap (?)

But isn't captain America in the marvel universe meant to be a propaganda tool halve the time anyway, so his work doesn't really need "super" powers. iirc

Not when he needs to put his money where his mouth is and sock a red hulk.

As quoted from Lacus Clyne, "neither power nor will alone is enough."

Or said MULTIPLE TIMES BY CN MCs, especially Chen PingAn from Unsheathed, "talk is cheap, people are more willing to listen to fists."

I am not saying it smart, because #ComicBooksAreWeird but in writing point of view, it's interesting in a "he's just a dude, lets see what happens" sorta way.

Than again it's not interesting enough for me to actually read it or watch it Since I only looked at the wiki.

Interestingly, Captain American movies lean closer to spy thrillers genres.

Who would have thought.

Because in the end, Cap is a juiced up junkie hunk.

Not much action unless Rambo style, Die Hard or straight Jason Bourne.

Now with Sam not having smack in his veins and all he has is a jetpack, maybe the theme will shift to Jetpack Joyride feat American Interventionism.

So, Daredevil? Bootym- I mean Batman?
Daredevil is a supe with his batlike hearing... no super strength which is quite meh.

Batman has the superpower known as Unlimited Money Works.

Seriously, has anyone checked his and Stark (pre-death)'s taxes?

I don't really know a lot of guys without any powers whatsoever. Punisher?
Yup.

That's one.

Though I think his superpower is spawning all those guns and ammos and insanely high pain tolerance.

------‐-----------------------------------------------------

Superless superhero also includes:
1. Green Arrow (Batman expy)
2. Nightwing (Batman expy)
3 Hawkeye (wtf is heart of the team Avengers?)

And Google already fucked up the list.

So in the comics, the Falcon becomes Captain America for a little while. It was a badly conceived idea and the writers took a dump on Steve Rogers during the whole thing and for some reason, Marvel's writing team decided that it was a good idea to do it in the cinematic universe too. Never mind that the whole section of comics with Falcon as Captain America sold poorly due to said crapping on Steve along with a personality shift for Falcon. They do the exact same storyline that they did in the cinematic universe. Steve ages into an old man and then passes on the mantle to Falcon.

Mind you, Falcon is a lot different in the comics. He's basically a telepath but with birds.

... so RDJ is scheduled to be Dr Doom soon because money.

When will Chris Evans get slotted back in as a one time villain?
I miss The Question.
