The Most Simplistic Way To Fish

In my opinion and experience obviously.
Caught 30 fishes in a day from morning to evening, some are bigger then my arm but its catfish that I cannot eat for their type cleans the yellow water.
This may help you understand about catching hand-sized fish, quantity is the goal.

So the tools you need:
Wiring Fish
Weight : Enough to pull it to the bottom
Hook : Between small to medium
Bait : Worm or shrimp

This applies where the bottom of water reach >10m deep and that its going to be straight unlike using a pole.
Put your hook with bait to the very bottom then pull up a few arms length then wait, feel the wire and become the hook.
Nudge-nudge is a sign fish is competing for its treasure and if you can feel the bite pull it.

The bait is going to be eaten, and if the fish keeps on running >10 tries, change hook & bait to smaller.
If you feel the fish had bitten but then no reaction, your bait most likely its gone so you should check again and again.
If the bait doesn't seem to be eaten, the fish is having a vacation somewhere or the food you given is horrible! "Why are you like this..."

Tie onto an object of one loop then use beyond the loop as your length that is after its at the correct area(hook is above bottom).
If your hook is stuck to the bottom try to power pull in some place left-right-up-down, if you surrender just cut it and make sure not to use that area again.
If you plan for the hook to go adventure above bottom just lessen the weight and it might dance freely.

Be under the shelter to protect your skin of the heating sun.
Experiment and if you find success record the time, length of wire, type of fish, type of bait used and including stories of tortured souls... ignore that last part.
If you plan on going quality of big fish and stringent with money those greedy people, understand the temperament of small fish first then the big one, prepare your gloves, big hook and quality bait, the force they pull is to be joke around... :D
Oh and be aware of your surrounding, jellyfish, crocodiles, snakes, tigers, wyrm...

Nah the real simplest way yo fish is to just go near a body of water after a flood and just pick up all the fish stuck in land

Nah, throw a handful of mullein seeds into the water. Releases a chemical that stops the fish from breathing so they float to the surface.
Just FYI- this is also illegal in many places.

Simple in a sense you get to catch fish at the bottom of deep water.
Not shallow ones where you can kiss their forehead and see them flapping trauma.

Simplest way to fish are with weirs. Build it once, catch fish forever.

Build them on a tidal shore like this and you can just pick them up from the ground every day lol

Depends on if it is lake, river, ocean, or pond fishing. Lake and pond can usually be caught with a simple line and lure, or a net depending on how stocked it is. It just depends on how much time you want to spend in the water. Rivers are great for fun fly fishing(which I suck at), or you can tie a line across the river with several weighted hooks hanging in the current to lure them. Then you pull it in when it starts getting active. Ocean is dependant on whether you are surf fishing or boat fishing. Surf fishing is best with a line and weighted lure cast beyond the breakpoint while boat fishing can catch mass quantities with a net or giant fish with a big enough hook and strong line. I can't really speak for ice fishing because I have never done it but I would classify it as one of the more difficult fishing methods.
