I just lost one reader out of nowhere.
But welp, I guess that happens now and then. When you have so many readers, not all will be pleased by the direction the story is going.

That's strange. I don't usually lose readers but then again, when I get them, they only stay on the first chapter and never move ahead since.
So far I've only got like 4 1/2 actual readers catching up to my shit.
I'm also on a 5 month hiatus as we speak, so maybe I'll start seeing drops in reader counts.

Actually, some readers just don't bother to click the little checkbox after reading a chapter. After all, you have to go back to the mainpage of the story to do that. So the readers who apparently are stuck at chapter one might still be reading all chapters.
