"Wah! Wah! Wah!" (I remember reading the manga a while back, not knowing why the anime got so popular. I watched one episode, and I knew. The fact that they got a motherly, nurturing, gentle voice for Frieren rather than the squeaky, grating, whiny voice all other female MCs in anime have was such a breath of fresh air that no weeb could ever resist Frieren.)

Honestly I too was pretty surprised that Frieren would have a more baritone voice during the anime as well.
